Using the CANCEL Button to Cancel Vocals on Multiplex CD+G Discs
The Cancel button on the front panel cycles through 4 available multiplex settings:
L + R: Standard stereo mode
L + L: Left side only
R + R: Right side only
L - R: Vocal Eliminator (Non-multiplex discs)
NOTE: This setting only works on Multiplex formatted CD+G karaoke discs which
are designed with vocals on one side and music on the other.
Advanced Operations
Setting the Feedback Eliminator (FB ELIM)
The Feedback Eliminator is designed to reduce or eliminate any whistling or feedback
that would come from the microphones. There are three available Feedback
Eliminator strengths:
0 (off) - Turns the Feedback Eliminator off
1 (weak) - For light feedback
2 (medium) - For medium feedback
3 (strong) - For strong feedback
To cycle through the different strengths
1. Press the FB ELIM button on the front panel or on the remote control until
the display screen shows your desired setting.
2. To turn off, press the FB ELIM button until the display screen says 0.
Locking/Unlocking the Tone and Effect Controls
The DA-7909RV allows you to lock the Music Bass and Treble controls, Microphone
Bass and Treble controls, Mic Echo controls and Mic Reverb controls to prevent
them from being changed accidentally or without your consent.
1. Press the C-MODE button FIVE TIMES
2. The display screen will say UNLOCKED if it is unlocked or LOCKED if it is locked
3. Use the Music Master Volume control to enter the password
4. Press the FB ELIM button on the front panel to confirm
5. The display panel will now say LOCKED if it is now locked and UNLOCKED
if it is now unlocked.





